Laminate Installation

Laminate can be installed as a floating floor over the wood or concrete floors (also over concrete floors with the radiant heat) or over the vinyl floors.

The laminate can be installed in all grades (below, on, above). One of the main properties of the laminate planks is the locking system. The installation of the laminate floor does not require glue or nail.the indevidual planks click together and the locking system keeps them tide and together. This method is the only method to install laminate flooring and it is called floating floor.

Floating floors are floors which all the planks are connected to eachother but free from the subfloor. This allows the subfloor contract or expand as necessary without damaging the laminate floor.
